
The Disability Trust provides a variety of Respite and In-Home Care Services. They are available to people with a disability, who are under 60 years of age and live in the community. Our services include:
The Attendant Care Programme provides assistance with tasks of daily living, in particular personal care, to people with a severe physical disability. (South Coast and & Southern Highlands). Back to Top
The Disability Trust provides centre based After School and Vacation Care for children with a disabiity between the ages of 12 and 18 (Illawarra only). Back to Top
The Disability Care Service aims to provide short term practical, non emergency nursing help 24 hours a day to people with a spinal cord injury (eg for catheter or bowel problems or falls) - (Illawarra only). Back to Top
The Emergency Care Service aims to give people with disabilities support in their own homes when the main carer is unable to provide support due to illness or health issues (Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and Shoalhaven). Back to Top
Flexible Respite provides families with a variety of respite options that are tailored to suit their individual needs. (Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and Shoalhaven. Limited support is also available to people with high physical needs who live in the Eurobodalla & Wingecarribee LGA's). Back to Top
Parkside is a fully wheelchair accessible respite unit located at 135 Bong Bong Road, Dapto. It is not permanently staffed however staffing can be arranged through The Disability Trust on a fee for service basis. Back to Top
