The Disability Trust’s After School and Vacation Care services are offered in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands, Eurobodalla, South West Sydney, Sutherland and St George regions.

The programs are held at a number of school based settings as well as a variety of community venues. The service offers weekday After School Care during school terms and Vacation Care during NSW school holiday periods for young people with a disability aged 12 to 18 years of age.

In Sutherland and St George regions are service Southern Sydney Trust Care (SSTC) also operates Vacation Care for 5 to 12 year olds.

After School Hours (OOSH) Care

We have experienced staff on hand to provide assistance at all times. During the afternoon staff take participants through a variety of activities based upon their interests. People who are eligible for this program must attend school and have a disability or a challenging behavior.

Vacation Care

The Disability Trust is currently running five different Vacation Care programs throughout the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands and South West Sydney. Participants attending Vacation Care do a combination of center based activities and excursions.

Teen Time

The Teen Time program provides After School and Vacation programs for people living or attending school in the Shellharbour and Eurobodalla regions. This program is designed for working parents or those who are undertaking studies.

Leisure Link Shoalhaven

The Leisure Link project provides support for people with disabilities to create a healthy and balanced lifestyle involving weekend camps and regular weekly sporting or recreational activities during school terms. We aim to foster the interests and individual goals of a participant which will then contribute to their sense of "self".

Getaway Saturday Illawarra

Getaway Saturday is a fun, relaxing, activity and recreational program that gives priority to people with high support needs over the age of 12 years are exiting or have recently exited similar service due to their age or support needs.
