The Disability Trust provides centre-based respite care for people with disabilities to stay in a safe, supervised environment while their carers take time off.

We operate fully-staffed respite homes at Sanctuary Point, Bowral, Bargo and Dapto that provide opportunities for people with disabilities to have out-of-home respite breaks. The Bargo and Sanctuary Point homes are also available for holiday rental.

Bowral Respite House is fully wheelchair accessible, and designed for people with high support needs. It is staffed 24 hours a day, and provides short-term accommodation to give respite to families and unpaid carers.

Bargo Respite House performs a similar function, while also offering opportunities for member families to use it for holidays in its lush, bushland surroundings.

Parkside at Dapto is a fully accessible, purpose-built four-bedroom house that is available for people with disabilities and their carers, and to organisations. Priority is given to people with physical disabilities.

Loralyn at Sanctuary Point accommodates up to 10 people. The home has modern facilities and wheelchair access, as well as a modified bathroom. Its location next to a reserve and with access to St Georges Basin makes it an ideal property for family holidays.
