Diploma in Project Management
Pam has been engaged in the Disability sector since 1994, beginning as a support worker with the breakdown of boarding houses before expanding her skills through residential and short term accommodation units. Whilst working here high level experience was developed in working with children and adults having high support needs in medical, behavioural and pyscho-social disabilities. This was then extended to work with Family and Community Services in case management and the first roll-out of individualised funding in the region.
Pam made the decision to join The Trust as a manager of residential services in early 2011, before securing the role of senior manager across Respite and the Care Solutions Team where she was able to direct her passion for individualised supports and assisting people to remain in their homes and have positive family relationships. As an acting executive manager she had opportunity to work across all Trust locations, before being offered a permanent role in the Illawarra. Pam has been a strong supporter of the NDIS and ensuring that participants receive the funded supports and access to community they require allowing them to lead the lives they want and be valued members of any society.
Changing to a new way of doing things can be confusing and difficult. We are here to help answer your questions about the NDIS, how it will affect you and the types of help that is available to you.
