I am delighted to be an ambassador for The Disability Trust and in particular their Netball program – The Eagles. I believe that netball and sport in general, is just as important in the life of a person with a disability, as it is in mine. Through sport, these participants have the opportunity to develop their social skills, independence and confidence, whilst also benefitting their health and wellbeing. I look forward to working with The Disability Trust to encourage more participants to give netball a go and for the wider community to get behind and support not only this wonderful program but all opportunities people with disabilities can access though The Disability Trust.
