Aaron knew that his working style is ‘hands on’ and that he is a practical learner.
Based on this information, Workskills were able to market Aaron's skills and abilities to a few local businesses. It didn’t take long for a Workskills Business Development Officer to find Aaron some unpaid work experience with a local panel beating company.
Aaron started casual employment with Brown’s Accident Repair Centre and was very quickly offered a full time panel beating apprenticeship.
The feedback about Aaron was instantly positive.
His employer, Margaret from Brown’s Accident Repair Centre, said that ‘Aaron has an eye for detail and the tradesmen always ask for his assistance. Once Aaron finishes his apprenticeship he will be one of the best in the trade.’
Aaron loves his job and excited for his future career.
Aaron has been participating in his second year apprenticeship and is now training another Workskills client for work experience.
‘We love Aaron! He will always have a job here and is part of our work family – we won’t let him go!’
