Our participants had a fantastic, fun filled holiday visiting the real life Summer Bay, the beautiful Bondi Beach with the legendary lifeguards and the fascinating Bare Island.
At Palm Beach (Summer Bay) they walked the actual beach where the stars are filmed, took in the views from the headlands, stopped into the surf club, paid a visit to Alf’s bait shop and the Home and Away jetty which is used as a backdrop in many of the much loved Summer Bay scenes.
The tour guides were full of interesting facts on this favourite show and our participants even got to drive around and check out some of the houses that are used in filming.
Bondi Beach and Bare Island were sure a treat! The weather was absolutely perfect and our participants were warmly welcomed by the internationally famous Bondi lifeguards. Some of the big fans in the group were bursting with excitement! After lunch and the super hot spot Coogee Pavilion they were off to La Perouse to check out Bare Island where they walked the platform famous for the Mission Impossible scene with Tom Cruise.
The experience was topped off when the group ventured over the Pyrmont Bridge to dinner at the harbour and then back to the apartments to watch the footy.
Such a fun holiday experience for all!
