Why do you like working for The Disability Trust?
The Disability Trust listens to it's participants and understands that everyone's needs are different. It's this flexibility, that also extends to staff, that makes working with the The Disability Trust so enjoyable.
Not all participants are confident in their abilities. It brings me a lot of satisfaction to see the smile on their faces when participants achieve a goal that they did not think they were capable of. This would have to be my favourite aspect of working with The Disability Trust.
The managers that I work with at The Disability Trust provide me with a lot of feedback and they have since day one. This, along with the feedback I get from the participants, gives me a great sense of value that I've not had in any role prior to this.
