1. Why do you like working for The Disability Trust?
Being able to personally contribute and share my skills and knowledge of nutritional benefits from my experience in the food industry, I am able to equip our clients and staff with skills and recipes to assist in better meal planning across all our accommodation services.
2. What is your favourite aspect of the job, and why?
My favourite aspect of my job is being able to combine my love for food and cooking, with my interest in helping people who come from a variety of different backgrounds. Being able to give our clients great tasting experiences whilst also being able to stimulate their other senses is personally very rewarding for me.
3. Do you feel valued in your role?
My vision is to continue to grow Trusted Cuisine in the Highlands and continue to expose my students to different foods, healthy eating education and excursions to various eateries. The Trust has allowed me to share my skills and culinary knowledge with other regions and a wide range of different people.
The Disability Trust and Mr Kadow hosted a food stall up at the Bowral Pie Festival on June 29th-30th, from 10am-4pm at Bong Bong Racecourse. The festival featured an array of food samples, live entertainment, market stalls and onsite activities for children.
