The Disability Trust new headquarters were officially opened by NSW Minister for Disabilities, Gareth Ward, on 22nd November 2019. The opening saw the amalgamation of three Illawarra based offices merged into one central location for both business and service delivery operation.
Chief Executive Officer, Margaret Bowen noted, “having everyone in the new office space has allowed for improved communication, streamlined business approaches, enhanced collaboration and refined service quality. The new open office has allowed staff to connect and build strengthened relationships across a multidepartment setting and within client engagement properties”.
“I love seeing organisations like this go strength to strength and whilst we are opening a new building today, it’s the people inside this building that make The Disability Trust truly great,” stated NSW Disability Minister Gareth Ward.
