An exhibition highlighting the artistic talents of 10 keen art students from The Disability Trust, Mittagong, was displayed at the Bowral Art Gallery last week.

The exhibition entitled 'Access All Art' showcased work by a group of 10 artists who come together every Monday morning for two hours of painting, tutored by artist Tony Deigan.

Exhibiting artist Rosemary Blandon who has been painting for approximately four to five years, says she ‘loves creating artwork’, and enjoys receiving prizes.

Fellow artist Joan Ashford has also been painting for four to five years. Joan loves painting and finds it very rewarding, as she explains.

“I love doing it because it's my hobby. It's good fun. If I don't do it, I'd have to do something different.”

Louise Mooney, team leader at The Disability Trust says everyone is delighted with the results. “Every Monday the group have been working hard on their artworks with their art teacher, Tony. They have managed to produce a number of great pieces, which were put on display at the Bowral District Art Gallery. The group and their art teacher are all very proud of what they have created.”
