For the last few years Ryan has been attending OOSH (after school care), vacation care and our Saturday Getaway Club. He enjoys going to these programs with his friends and has developed a love for jigsaw puzzles. Ryan has shown his family and his support workers that he is very good at them and is now able to complete 300 piece puzzles.
“It has been really nice to find an activity that he really enjoys and can be successful at" said Zondrae, Ryan's Mum.
Thanks to these programs Ryan can do things independently from his parents.
“No seventeen year old guy wants his mum and dad around all the time! It also gives us some time away from the caring role, which is important. These services all help our family run smoothly and harmoniously.”
We love hearing from happy families and celebrating the successes of our participants with them. Well done Ryan and we hope you get a few great new puzzles to work on this Christmas.
