Recently our South East Sydney Art Program submitted three art projects to the ShireABILITY Art Awards and have been accepted as finalists! ShireABILITY Art Award is a new opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to share their creative talents and have their works exhibited at Hazelhurst Arts Centre.
Each artist in the Art Program worked hard on the three submissions titled ‘Landscapes’, ‘Outback Dreams’ and ‘Beautiful bushland of the Shire’, putting lots of time and energy into each piece. One participant was awarded a Highly Commended result and we could not be prouder.
This is a massive achievement for all involved with the art submissions currently showing in an exhibition at the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre. The exhibition is open to the public and the artworks can be viewed at the gallery until Sunday 12th December.
There is still time to support our artists by voting online in the People's choice award which closes on 11 December. Our artists' works were 'Landscapes', 'Beautiful Bushland of the Shire' and 'Outback Dreams’
